The European Society for Clinical Virology (ESCV) and the Société Française de Microbiologie (SFM) are pleased to announce a joint initiative bringing together two complementary scientific events at Institut Imagine, Paris, France, on 14–15 January 2027.
ESCV ENNGS Workshop | 14 January 2027
The ESCV European Network on Next-Generation Sequencing (ENNGS) will host the workshop: Clinical Genomics and Metagenomics in Transplantation: From Pathogen Detection to Patient Management
The workshop will focus on the application of clinical genomics and metagenomics in the transplantation setting, providing an opportunity for scientific exchange around pathogen detection and its role in patient management.

SFM Viruses and Transplants Meeting | 15 January 2027
The programme continues the following day with the SFM Viruses and Transplants Meeting, organised by the Société Française de Microbiologie.
Together, these two events offer an opportunity to connect the clinical virology, microbiology, genomics and transplantation communities and encourage exchange and collaboration across disciplines.
