In collaboration with ECDC and ESCMID, the ESCV offers a number of travel grants to selected  members to attend the ECDC Public Health Observership Programme in Stockholm, Sweden, in September of each year. For details, keep an eye on this website or follow @ESCVirology on twitter.

The ECDC Observership Visit provides a unique insight into Public Health epidemiology and allows the awardees to interact with experienced ECDC staff, EUPHEM recruits and colleagues from around the world with an interest in infection. The aims and objectives of the ECDC Observer visit can be found on the ECDC website.

The application period for the ECDC Observership is now open until the 18th June 2023.

If you are interested in staying one week at the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (EDCD) premises in Stockholm and learn about Public Health Epidemiology, send us your application together with a short motivation letter to secretariat.escv@kenes.com
