The European Society for Clinical Virology wishes to offer a number of travel grants to Early Career to enable them to attend their meetings and workshops.

For the annual ESCV meetings, the grants will be awarded to students and trainees (up to age 40 years) who are ESCV members or have applied for ESCV membership and who will give an oral or a poster presentation at the meeting. Applications will be reviewed by members of the Scientific Committee and the grant will be given according to the quality of the abstract and availability of funds. The maximum award will be € 750 for European applicants. This amount can be used to cover registration, travel and/or accommodation cost (please note that you will have to be able to cover the remaining amount; grants are up to 750€ only). You will receive the grant against the receipts to indicate your costs, after the event.

We would also like to offer international grants for the purpose of encouraging membership and attendance from developing countries, outside Europe. Individual consideration will be given to these international applicants who will have higher expenses to attend the meeting.

Important notes:

• The applicant must be a current member of the ESCV, and have been a member for a minimum of two subsequent years.
• Priority will be given for those who have not received a travel grant from ESCV within the last two years.
